JOMBOA Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the JOMBOA mobile application and related services (the "App"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. About JOMBOA

JOMBOA is a community and sports management platform that helps groups organize leagues, teams, matches, events, announcements, and community participation.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 12 years old to use the App. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have your parent or guardian's permission to use the App.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials

• All activity that occurs under your account

• Ensuring the information you provide is accurate

You may not use another person's account without their permission. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at support@jomboa.com.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation

• Post content that is unlawful, abusive, hateful, harassing, or defamatory

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App or its infrastructure

• Interfere with the App's operation through spam, exploitation, or scraping

• Upload or transmit malware, viruses, or any harmful code

• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or organization

5. Community Content

You retain ownership of content you create in the App. By posting content, you grant JOMBOA a limited license to host, store, display, and process that content solely as needed to operate the App.

Content you post may be visible to other members of your community according to its settings and permissions.

JOMBOA may review, remove, or restrict content that violates these Terms or applicable law. To report content that violates these Terms, contact support@jomboa.com.

6. Community Roles and Permissions

The App uses a role-based permission system. Community administrators manage their communities and may set permissions that control what members can post, view, and manage. JOMBOA is not responsible for decisions made by community administrators.

7. Payments and Subscriptions

The App is currently free to use. If paid features or subscriptions are introduced in the future, we will update these Terms and provide advance notice before any charges apply. Any purchases made through Apple or Google platforms are subject to their respective payment and refund policies.

8. Termination and Suspension

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms or if we determine that suspension or termination is necessary for the security or safety of users or the App. Where possible, we will provide notice before taking such action.

9. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, JOMBOA will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless JOMBOA and its operators from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

12. Changes to the App or Terms

We may update the App or these Terms at any time. We will update the effective date at the top of this page when we do. For material changes, we will provide notice through the App or by email. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

14. Dispute Resolution

Before filing a formal claim, you agree to attempt to resolve any dispute informally by contacting us at support@jomboa.com. If the dispute is not resolved within 30 days, either party may bring a claim in a court of competent jurisdiction in Minnesota. Either party may also bring eligible claims in small claims court.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
