JOMBOA Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how JOMBOA (“JOMBOA”, “we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the JOMBOA mobile application and related services (the “App”).
We collect information you provide directly, such as:
Account information: email address, display name (nickname), and login credentials (stored securely).
Optional profile information: full name and phone number (if you choose to provide them).
Community/sports content you create: teams, rosters, match results, announcements, event RSVPs, and other information you enter.
We may also collect:
Usage and diagnostics: basic app usage and crash/performance logs.
Device & technical data: device model, operating system and version, IP address, time zone, language settings, and identifiers such as push-notification tokens (if enabled). This data is collected automatically when you use the App.

We process personal information based on:
Your consent, which you provide when you create an account and use the App;
Performance of our contract with you (our Terms of Service); and
Legitimate interests in operating, improving, and securing the App.
You may withdraw consent at any time by deleting your account or contacting support@jomboa.com.
We use your information to:
Create and manage your account
Provide App functionality (communities, leagues, announcements, events, standings)
Maintain security, prevent abuse, and enforce our rules
Fix bugs, improve performance, and develop new features
Respond to support requests and send important service notices (when needed)
We do not sell your personal information.
We may share information only in limited cases:
Service providers: We use categories of vendors such as cloud hosting and databases, authentication, and crash-reporting/analytics (if enabled). These providers process data on our behalf under contractual obligations and may not use it for their own purposes.

Legal compliance & safety: when required by law, or to protect rights, safety, and security.
Within your community: content you post may be visible to members of your community according to its settings and permissions.
Business transfers: if JOMBOA is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
We keep personal information as long as needed to provide the App and for legitimate business needs (e.g., security, dispute resolution, fraud prevention). If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize personal information unless we must keep certain records for legal, security, or fraud-prevention reasons.

We may ask you to verify ownership before deleting.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
JOMBOA is not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information, and to request a portable copy of certain data. To exercise these rights, contact support@jomboa.com.
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and request deletion of your data. JOMBOA does not sell personal information. To exercise your rights, contact support@jomboa.com.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the Effective date and may notify you of significant changes.
Your information may be processed in countries other than where you live, including the United States, where some service providers operate. We use appropriate safeguards to protect your data.
